MirthBusters: Facts and Fiction of Happiness
Stuckenberg Professor of Human Values and Chair
Department of Psychology
Randy Larsen has published widely on the topic of happiness and subjective well being.
He will debunk for us some of the myths about happiness —
e.g., that money leads to happiness and that happy people are happy all the time —
as well as explore what recent psychological research has revealed about happiness.
He will share insights from his recent book The Science of Subjective Well-Being,
which explores happiness from historical, philosophical, cultural and scientific perspectives.
